Katia Porzecanski is New York Bureau Chief for Bloomberg News, overseeing about 1,000 journalists at the company’s world headquarters and coverage of New York and the tristate area. She previously ran Bloomberg's coverage of the biggest trials and lawsuits in the country as Team Leader for US Legal News. She joined Bloomberg in 2011 and worked for a decade covering Latin America bond markets and US hedge funds. She has a BA in Economics from Tufts University.
